Modernization approach

This page describes how we plan legacy code modernization work—not a product roadmap, but the sequence we use once an engagement is signed.

1. Stabilize observability

Before moving code, we ensure you can see failures: logging around batch boundaries, replayable inputs, and a rollback path that operations trusts.

2. Map boundaries

We identify seams where strangler-fig patterns are realistic: message queues, file drops, or API facades that let you replace modules without a big-bang rewrite.

3. Prove with thin slices

Pilot changes target a narrow user journey or report. Success means measurable risk reduction, not a slide deck of aspirational microservices.

4. Transfer knowledge

Every phase ends with updated runbooks and walkthroughs for your team. Our goal is to leave you able to maintain what we helped build.

Working from Bangkok

We coordinate with distributed teams across time zones. On-site workshops at our Charoen Krung office can be arranged when travel is practical.
